PLAN πάντα τὰ ἔθνη

"... repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations,..."  Luke 24:47, ESV

What is 'PLAN panta ta Ethne'?

The phrase 'panta ta Ethne' is the Koine Greek origin of what translates today in most English New Testaments as 'all nations.' The phrase appears in two of the five post-resurrection conversations Jesus of Nazareth had with his bewildered disciples when he mandated they, and all who would follow, take His full Gospel of the Kingdom to 'all nations' (cf. Luke 24:47 and Matthew 28:19). The original meaning of the phrase has nothing to do with what is commonly thought today as geopolitical nation-states; rather, to be precise, the translation 'all ethnicities' better captures the essence of the phrase with its easy association in English to the Greek word 'Ethne.' With this understanding in mind PLAN panta ta Ethne endeavors to do its part to assure the message of Jesus is powerfully demonstrated, clearly proclaimed and ultimately embraced by as many people as possible of whatever unengaged and unreached people group remaining - groups that identify themselves by their unique culture, language, sense of self-determination and belonging.
The VISION
Seeing the Kingdom of God take root in *Unengaged and **Unreached People groups of the world, especially those of Muslim background, by way of strategic accompaniment alongside Latin American cross-cultural workers committed to establishing Church Planting Movements (CPMs) and/or Disciple-Making Movements (DMMs).
The MISSION
To challenge and offer partnership to the Latin American Church in its recruitment, training and mobilizing of well supported and well cared for Latin American cross-cultural workers committed to establishing Church Planting Movements (CPMs) and/or Disciple-Making Movements (DMMs) among *Unengaged and **Unreached People groups, especially those of Muslim background.
*Unengaged - a people without any known presence of Jesus as Lord and Savior among them. They are often referred to as 'abandoned' with no Gospel witness.
**Unreached - People groups with less than 2% of Jesus followers within their group, and therefore unable to sustain any measure of indigenous evangelization.
